कुम्भ एवं वैष्णव शाही स्नान
The three Ani akhadas lead the Vaishnav bathing procession, the largest public expression of Bairagi identity.
Vaishnav akhadas march in a fixed order with their deities, flags, nagaras and khalsas. For householder families, Kumbh is the occasion to meet the kul guru, take diksha, register in the akhada bahi and complete pind daan for ancestors. Samaj sabhas run camps offering free food and lodging, and these camps have become the meeting ground where marriage alliances, scholarships and community decisions are settled.
वैष्णव अखाड़े निश्चित क्रम में अपने विग्रह, ध्वज, नगाड़े एवं खालसा सहित निकलते हैं। गृहस्थ परिवारों के लिए कुम्भ कुलगुरु से भेंट, दीक्षा, अखाड़ा बही में नाम लिखवाने तथा पितरों के पिण्डदान का अवसर है। समाज सभाएँ नि:शुल्क भोजन एवं आवास शिविर लगाती हैं, और यही शिविर विवाह सम्बन्ध, छात्रवृत्ति तथा सामाजिक निर्णयों का केन्द्र बन गए हैं।
